    Would the 7,000 losing their jobs get redundancy if you complete the project and would they get nothing if the company goes into Chapter 11? How many direct and indirect suppliers would also be affected by the closure?

    I know this is going to sound flippant, but you were very staunchly pro-lockdown, which is going to put at least 4 million out of work in the UK alone. What’s different here?

    In the future automation will bring about people staying at home for a basic family income which is enough to live off. You will only need to work if you really want to. If you want luxuries you will have to find a job. Otherwise live off a world super government.

    It’s a fair comment. Being pro-lockdown does not mean being pro-job losses. It’s perfectly possible to lock down properly without having 4 million job losses. Other countries have managed it with a far less significant economic impact to the people.
