Paul Gibbs seemed to get a decent run in the side despite obviously being very very bad at football. More recently, Tom Kennedy seemed to be quite a permanent fixture.
Did we have better options at the club then though or were the squads so poor that those god awful players were as good as it got for us?
I did think him but he only played 2 league games for us, he was just that slow that watching him come out for a ball felt like 10 matches
We had Chris Barker when Gibbs used to play. Everyone has their favourite worst Barnsley manager but Parkin was literally clueless.
I don't dislike him. I don't think he's been great by any stretch but I don't think he's been as bad as some think either.
I couldn't remember who we had during that period. Had a little look and at one point it seems we had Wiseman, McNulty, Rob Edwards, foster, hassell, golbourne and mceverly to choose from at the back.
We obviously need a scapegoat, who's the unlucky superstar that was pulling up trees in that position before he arrived?
I don't think the players are reading the BBS whilst stood in the tunnel. Fans have absolutely no influence on this game. It's all down to the manager and the players he's selected
