I live in Leeds & have a couple of hundred Leeds mates. They kept us up tonight. They were all magnanimous about the fact we were the best team to play them too. They largely were glad we stayed up. (I'd say 90%). Thanks. x
I also know a few leeds supporters and they have also said they cant believe we were in the relegation zone for so long. All we have needed is a goal scorer and I do believe we could have been much higher. Weve outplayed fulham WBA,leeds but cant score enough
I work in Leeds and know some of their fans. Very supportive of us tonight - and over the last season. Can't fault them really and wish them well for next season.
I hate them with a passion and no matter what they have done tonight I hope they get arseoled every game next season and go bust eventually. *******!!!!!!!!
Hate them with a passion, but agree that they have done the league proud tonight by remaining focused and professional when they could easily have been on the beach and no-one would have batted an eyelid
I hate them with a passion most of my family are Leeds fans and I work in Leeds but at the end of the day they didn't need to turn up tonight but they did
I have an old mate whose Leeds through and through. He watched us on sky, kept ringing and texting me, he was totally made up we'd we'd survived. Fair do's, I'll show some class.....well done Leeds
Congratulations on almost murdering that policewoman. Leeds scum is as Leeds scum does: I hope they go bust.
Living in Wakey I’ve got plenty of Leeds mates, without exception they wish us well and will be happy we’ve stayed up, no doubt though all their plastic fans will be out in force now dusting off their Leeds shirts with “Viduka” on the back!
I’ve often driven past Bellend Road with my middle finger up at it (childish I know) but there has certainly been some respect shown in the last couple of weeks. Whether that would’ve been the case if we’d beaten them, who knows? But yeah, I’ll certainly take some hatred back for their performance/result last night and their fans wishing us well. As others have said, it would’ve been all too easy for them to roll over with nothing to play for. Bielsa seems like a top guy and they’re lucky to have him. That promotion has been a long time coming for them. I think I’ll maybe refrain from wanting them to lose every game in the greed league next season. That can be solely for Sheff United.
I know we all like to hate them(as does the whole country apparently), but there is no denying they deserve to be back in the big time.
Good luck to them. No point being mardy about them being in the top flight. To say we are the biggest county it's been embarrassing for a long time how poorly our sides have done in the top flight. Now for the first time in ages we've two up there.
