Agreed. However, if you look at Woodrow’s general demeanour after the final whistle he didn’t seem as “up” as the rest. I thought at the time he has that look of a man who’s moving on. But then again it could be just spherical globules.
Makes me think our board just look at yield for a player buy him for X amount and if the bid is over Y than we sell. Another kid from Austria to replace him & the wheel turns again. I guess this is now the time our board shows if they have heeded mistakes made last season.
I fully expect him to be sold. He’s not been with it since the resumption after lockdown and we’ve done fine. The amount we sell him for doesn’t bother me in the slightest, that’s none of our business. We won’t know the true figure, nor do we need to, so let’s not immediately jump on the club for selling him for peanuts because someone on Facebook said an arbitrary number. Judge it on who is brought in as a replacement, not some random figure on Facebook.
I said after first couple of games after lockdown Cauleys heart wasnt in it tbh . At first I thought he may be a bit rusty but imo he seemed more concerned of not getting injured than owt else . Struber mentioned in his pre match against Forest about needing all players focused then drops Cauley . I would be very surprised if he’s here start of next season tbh . I’d like to thank him for his efforts in our promo and in the pre Covid games but we needed him after lockdown and others stepped up massively instead thank goodness .
Yep I think he’s agreed a deal somewhere if wish him well just hope we sell him for more than 2.5m but I won’t hold me breath

Cauley is a decent finisher, and in a different team might prosper more. With our developing Struber designed press then quick pass and move, busy soldier ant way of playing, it takes a certain type of player. Especially up front. I don't think any of the front 3 (or 2 or whichever way you want to perceive it) are fully fit for purpose. The chances created versus chances finished evidence this. I suppose it's a matter of whether we want/can afford to upgrade what we've got. If we did, we'd be smokin', cos we've got something good going here up until it gets in the final third.
Wherever he's going it was a "agreed" weeks ago. His attitude when the season restarted was disgraceful.
That’s the way I see it as well . I’m hoping Struber stays on he knows what’s wanted and can obviously motivate a team . If we have to start looking for another head coach it could set us back half a season or even more unless we drop on lucky . Looking forward to next season having said that I was looking forward to last season as well and after Fulham game I thought we’d turned a corner but that’s life for being a Reds Fan
I might be pushing it a bit further here, but I look at Adam Armstrong and think someone like him could be deadly for us and be likely to put us top 6 I look at what McBurnie did for us and think that we ought to be big enough to accept that there might be merit in scouring those young players bubbling under in a premier league squad who might give us such a presence upfront that it would make those players we're developing look good when they're laying chances on for him to finish When I watched the video of the bloke from Livingstone we're apparently interested in, I was thinking blimey who's the bloke laying it on for him: We need to get someone who uses skill to go out wide and delivers quality ball in. I agree that they all have to be fit as fleas and run about like Ben Johnson on speed But next season we're a team in need of forward firepower . We do not have enough in our musket. Perhaps that's our destiny, because of how much forwards cost. But we need to be cute, and if we are, Struber might do something special next season.

Just a guess fella, IMO his agent has been playing silly buggers behind the scenes, engineering a move. I'm disappointed in Woodrow as earlier in the season he wa fantastic but since the restart he just wasn't interested.
