    They are happy to watch some of our staff get put out of jobs but not there own in positions em can’t afford etc

    I think you'll find that the (ex) Wigan Owner has "Dun a runner mate" and doesn't give a flying **** what happens to the Club next

    The administrator has control of the company but the company is surely still owned by the owner?

    I don't know what all the fuss is about really... If we were in their shoes we would be making a lot of noise too... The administrator has got to try and appeal the deduction mainly so the club is a more attractive package to the next owners.ie championship.club... . ... Regardless of the outcome... They the administration team have to be seen to be doing their best and exploring every avenue .... Plus they will be fighting to ward off any further points deduction for next season too....
    Money wise Wigan the club is up the creek without a paddle....
    Any new owner coming in only needs to bide their time too to get the club at a fraction of the price it is now.... I'm no accountant but If they agree 5p in the pound on any external debts too the new company is laughing all the way back to the bank... But then again the question to be asked is do the new owners purchase any percentage of the ground or are they just buying the team and the league registration... Has that been declared... That needs taking into account too... Personally I think there's a good chance Wigan could go to the wall...
    It wouldn't surprise me if there was further news coming out over the next few days or week... Another scandle....mmm

    My advice Enjoy the short break and look forward to championship football at Oakwell next season...

    the rules state

    12.3.12 Any Sporting Sanctions Appeal must be in writing and be received by The League at its registered office no later than seven days after The League serves the Notice. The Sporting Sanctions Appeal must contain a statement setting out the grounds of appeal and provide copies of any documentation upon which the Club intends to rely in support of the Sporting Sanctions Appeal.

    I’m sure this initial statement outlining their reason for appeal hasn’t been extended to 6000 pages :D
