I really hope we are , in fact I hope we were the first to email them saying if you need anything and we mean anything to help in this just ask , PLEASE!!!!
I wonder what the definition of support is? Reight lads we are right behind ya! Or something more formal.
Charlton must be confident that Wigan are going to lose their appeal.. because wouldn't we be in pole position to escape ifWigan won..!
The Wednesday penalty being deferred just reeks of corruption. As someone said elsewhere, 'Cheat now, pay when you feel like it.' I hope that this is pursued by all (I know its only a small number) of the clubs who wish to see fair play.
BBC Sports website confirm Charltons submission. Be delighted if they succeed. They are cheats and deserve to be punished this season, not next. Charlton Athletic legal challenge against Sheffield Wednesday penalty gets rivals' support https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53637173
They are cheats and do deserve to be punished,,,, but,,,, if the decision stands, we’ll be in a division next season with a 12 point start on a competitor
Could not give a slimy brown un about having a 12 point advantage. BFC should give as much support to Charlton as possible. Cheats should not prosper.
Amen to that. I would happily forego the advantage to see cheating punished properly. Ultimately, it is more in our interest as a club that does things properly to see cheats punished than it is to have a short term points advantage over one club. I hope we are 100% behind Charlton and offering any support we can.
I was well behind Charlton, but having seen the raging they’re doing online about the Wigan ruling, I’m not so sure anymore. Not sure how much I can support fans who would have preferred to see us relegated.
Do they not realise that for them to benefit from a legal challenge, Wigan have to fail meaning we survive?
I don’t get that. If Wigan had won the appeal then there’s no benefit for them in the Wendy’s going down. Sound about as sharp as the Wigan lot
Now we are safe we are better off leaving Wednesday where they are - i.e. -12 NEXT season. Not that I think that's the right thing to do.
Gives us a chance RUFC Wycombe Coventry SWFC -12 POINTS . Best ever chance of consolidation in the championship
is that what their fans want? - read somewhere that some would prefer to be in div 1 and all on 0 point? Were they given a choice between dropping to Div 1 or staying in Championship with a start of -12 ??
No it's not the right thing to do. Few hours ago we were all feeling an injustice could be done....we're now safe, let's take advantage...words fail me.
