Lockdown has left me with time to mull over this past season and put together an 11 of the best players/performances we've faced this year.

Warning: Watching the highlights to remind/scar myself with some of the losses and defensive mishaps was mentally distressing. Please don't do it.

GK - Rafael Cabral Barbosa (Reading)

LB - Nathan Ferguson (West Brom)

    CB - Liam Cooper (Leeds)

    CB - Ben White (Leeds)

    RB - Pereira (Bristol)

    CM - Sam Clucas (Stoke)

    CM - Max Bird (Derby)

    CAM - Daniel Johnson (Preston)

    ST - Ollie Watkins (Brentford)

    ST - Lyle Taylor (Charlton)

    ST - Tyrese Campbell (Stoke)

    Bit of fun, ey.

Kalvin Phillips was fantastic for Leeds back in September.

Best player in the league imho. No coincidence that Leeds limped over the line* when he got injured.

*They started playing well again after they were promoted.

Benrahma needs to be in there

plus Hernandez for Leeds, and Kelvin Phillips

He was gash against us to be honest. A real talent though.

In the game after lockdown i thought he was the best player on the pitch.

GK: Sam Johnstone (WBA) - Unbelievable on Boxing Day, denied us two extra points. One of his saves to stop Thomas scoring was world class.

RB: Andy Yiadom (Reading) - No idea how he's still in the Championship, and at such a pointless club.

CH: Sean Morrison (Cardiff) - Horrible bastârd, so dominant. Think he actually frightened our forwards at Oakwell pre-COVID.

CH: Ethan Pinnock - Quite frankly the best centre half in world football who isn't called Mads Andersen.

LB: Max Lowe (Derby) - Massively underrated and still young.

RM: Tom Barkhuizen (PNE) - Thoroughly embarrassed us, twice. Another very underrated player.

CM: Jacob Butterfield (Luton) - Ran the game at Oakwell. Biased or not.

CM: Ovie Ejaria (Reading) - Some player; would love him here.

LM: Said Benrahma (Brentford) - The most talented player I've seen outside the Prem since Prosinecki. Would be perfect for Leeds.

ST: Ollie Watkins (Brentford) - Rinsed us at Oakwell. Still looks raw, lots of development still. If he's not in the Prem this season I'll be shocked.

ST: Andre Ayew: (Swansea) - I love him. If I could sign one player from this list it'd be him. Big name, but works his sack off. Absolute class.

Honorable mentions for Clucas, Swift, Eze, Pereira and Vokes.

I was trying to remember the keeper that had the best game of his life against us but couldn't remember.. it was Johnstone! He was like a brick wall that day.

I was also going to say Pinnock just cos he tried so hard to give us a pen with that handball the last game lol

I adore the bloke. The most humble, down to earth kid you could wish to meet. Just happens to be like Bobby Moore at football.
