How awesome his he in this now average England team, really shouldn't be bowling but comes on late on in desperate times to take 2/11 and gets us back in the game
5/6 a Pakistan victory is great value though
Just hope we don't cripple him

Think our bowling is above average- we can't build a decent total though

He's great, but also, hes like an injured soldier climbing out of the trenches.
Just do your job and stop trying to be the hero every match .

We’ll need him to be hero with the bat tomorrow if we’re to chase this down.

It's gettable on a flat wicket, We need to see off their spinners first and not give away easy wickets early doors.

Far from a flat wicket this. Will be a brilliant chase if we get there.

14 wickets in a day on a pitch that was like day 2 because of the lack of overs on the opening day. We need another Sibley innings of 100 off 300 balls to tire the bowlers out.

He has to be the hero because nobody else can hold a bat at the minute.

It's scary to think how poor we would be without Stokes in the side. What a talisman he is. Hopefully he will play a vital role with the bat in the second innings. Not convinced Archer is up to test match cricket yet, why is he so down on speed? Are England not using him effectively? Also IMO Root still has a lot of work to show he is a decent captain. Let's hope we quickly take the final two Pakistan wickets and get on with chasing 250 odd 4th innings. It will be tough with the Pakistani pace bowlers and the leg spinner looking threatening.

Aaaaand ignoring that weird attempt at humour.

Unsure on Archer. Root maybe needs to use him more effectively. 4 or 5 over spells giving it everything and bowling at 90 clicks. He's quite inconsistent at the minute but I suppose it's a learning curve.

Think some are getting carried away here, yes he took two valuable wickets, he also dropped 2 important catches and the shot he got out with was deplorable, he is without doubt a good player though

    Deplorable?

He played forward to a ball that seamed away and took his off stump.

A week ago he scored 250 in the test when the rest of them weren't worth a ****.

There is no doubting his obvious ability, he is our best player on his day in my opinion. He's also a very lucky player and if he gets a big slice of luck in world cup finals our an ashes test then I don't care if he is caught out cheaply every now and again.
