    No. Rules. Broken.

Quit the agenda, its tiring and beginning to look funny everytime the owners pull it off.

    It's not an agenda.

It just doesn't sit comfortably when we're being holier than thou regarding rules and grassing clubs up to the EFL.

It's nice that you've quoted something that I posted about 12 hours ago. If you can take Chien's penis out of your mouth briefly, then that would be great.

Do l have to quote it straight away?

Didnt know you wrote the BBS rules, some of us dont sit on here 24/7. Do you want to share a munch of his dick? You'll come round soon, you're absolutely clutching at straws with this one but l suppose theres nothing else to have a go at the owners with at the minute. What a ******* bell.

    Morning Gordon.

Hope your keyboard is still in one piece after typing this so aggressively.

    What a lovely sunny day.

I'll return your keyboard, I found it slung over the wall near the allotments after this announcement.

    Good day to you sir.

You could argue you have had an agenda on here as you frequently defend the owners at all costs. They have admitted themselves they have made mistakes. They can be criticised and you still want the best for the club. Nobody is insulting your mum for christ's sake.

I've just got up and found 2 keyboards in my front garden, slightly damaged but still working.

Surprised this thread is running and running when there’s not much to discuss about the issue.

We bought McGeehan for about £1 million - Portsmouth offered £350K - so the owners decided to move him sideways to the sister club.

It works for Oostende - getting hold of a relatively quality player.
It works for Barnsley - getting him off the wage bill.
It works for McGeehan - presumably getting wages higher than Portsmouth would pay.
It works for the owners - not losing money on a bad deal.

A win win win ...... and win scenario.
So what the hell is there to complain about !?!?!

Those fans that are saying that the McGeehan transfer dosen’t work for Barnsley have really got to get a grip on the fact that the welfare of the owners comes before the welfare of the club.
Putting the club before the owners interests is like putting the cart before the horse.
We cannot have a successful club if we have unsuccessful owners.
    Ask Wigan fans.

The owners are there to make Barnsley as successful as they possibly can.
So let the owners get on with doing what they can with the money they have got.

I think there's a lot to like in this thread if the more emotional posts are ignored. Chances are there is nothing dubious going on but it's good to see folk are concerned that Barnsley FC is being run the right way. Nowt wrong with that.

Belgium season starts this weekend. Should be ready to go as had play off matches quite recently. Will now follow this league with interest.

I am sincerely hoping there is mutual benefit of this but as mentioned, I’m yet to be convinced. I wasn’t aware Portsmouth had offered any money - this makes me question it again.

The owners won’t pump money into the club, the FFP rules allow £13mil a year losses on average (isn’t it £39mil losses over three years permitted?) but we aren’t doing that. Thankfully. The club will broadly only have to spend what the club generates.

So in what way do Barnsley Football Club do better out of giving an asset - to only one of our several owners’ other clubs - for free, instead of getting £350k? Did he go for free, do we know that?

    Genuine questions.

I know this is only one transaction but it doesn’t seem to help our club; yes he’s off the wage bill but the transfer fee we didn’t get (if we didn’t that is) is quite a bit more than the wages saved.

I still think there are several questions to be answered before we can conclude if this is being done to benefit Barnsley or not.

Only if there's a club willing to pay a fee who can also agree terms with the player.

Miller came on as a late substitute against Fulham at home.
