Yeah, but we live in a more enlightened age now, where everyone is equilateral.

So funny that fans who do the things they do found offense at something so light hearted.

I quite liked him in the nets when kids took penalties - he's good reflexes

The Fa cup game in 93 was appalling - coins rained down on us the entire game - we were ambushed at the bottom of the steps coming out of the Kippax and I bumped into a reds fan lying in a pool of blood on the way back to the train station but yes a dog pretending to wipe his backside was shocking

I'm sure we had him as the shirt badge for a few years and I'm sure it made me cringe and my toes curl

He has never cocked his leg up on the posts.....I don't think he's a real dog....mine would have p****d on them at least 25 times before kick off.

We've never had him on the shirt, he's never been on the official club crest.

He has however been used on club merchandise, particularly merchandise aimed at children. The confusion around the use of the Toby tyke logo comes from the fact that the media somehow wrongly used the Toby tyke logo as the club crest when we were on TV. So for example when Barnsley played on sky they showed the Toby tyke logo above the stat rather than the club badge.

Personally I love Toby and think it's a great shame that he hasn't been seen in the stadium since the fanzone was built.

I can only think he got sent off for training or neutering because he’s lost his ‘cheeky’ edge

Toby is a leg end. He must be at least 350 in dog years as he was born in the 60s.

He fitted my brother's bathroom too.

    There's only 1 Toby Tyke.

I have heard he is not a real dog. Someone told me he was a person in a costume. I don't believe it...

Was one of my very early away trips and I remember seeing that fan on the way back to the official coach. Dread to think how bad it would have been if we had won. On the plus side I topped up pocket money thanks to all the coins thrown in our direction.
