I thought it started season before last to get a sum together to have a go at prem . Not sure the ins and outs of it tbh. Radio Sheffield had a go at explaining it but I don’t think even they could fully grasp the implications . I noticed one or two who phoned Praise or grumble over last couple of seasons alluded to they had taken up the offer .
From what I remember they get a ticket every year up until promotion to the premier league and then 10 years from that season onwards.
If he is going it sounds more like an inventive way to get extra money into club and leave someone else to sort the issue out
You mean deluded and wearing a blue and white shirt... I remember their first season in the championship, their season ticket was called a premiership return ticket. Not many went to trading standards over that one..
The only local club I have a problem with is the Fowls. The reasons are too boring & complicated to go into. I'm convinced they will be relegated next season & we will stay up. Nothing else matters.
Wasn’t it that you paid say 4k up front for 10 seasons but you got it all back if they’re went up So if they went up the following season you would get 10 years worth of season tickets for free but if they never went up you have just paid 4k up front for 10 years worth of tickets. Something like that. Desperate stuff.
I thought they paid for the 10 years up front, starting from now, and then get a refund when they make it to the Premier league. So essentially their Premier league season ticket is free.
Well he does own a £40 million piece of prime North Sheffield real estate, I’m sure he can turn it into an Aldi.
Nope. 10 years starting from promotion to the premier league and free tickets up until that point. https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2020/january/10-year-season-ticket-on-sale-now/
Ah fair enough (I'm not clicking the link through principle haha), either way, I said at the time, the last desperate action of a desperate man.
I remember driving past clown scho....err...sorry Hillsboro with my daughter , must have been about 2000 after they had just been relegated and remember seeing posters and billboards tied to lamp posts emblazoned with 'Get Your Premiership Pass Here'. I had a good chuckle at that!.... How many years is it now? 20 years!.... It's a bloody long pass IMO
