I found them handy in the iFollow matches if I fancied a cuppa midway through a half. Might be a slight drag watching it live in the stadium, but it's not like it goes on forever.
they are only 3 minutes long each half.... I have no problems with it.It also allows the coaches a quick time to give info to the players.
Coaches give information to the players during the game, it's part of what a coach does. There's always natural breaks during a game anyway where players can get a drink if they need one.
Should be scrapped. Simple as that. We have half time. They can have 5 gallons of water then if they like. Similarly if there is a 'normal' lengthy break in play for, say, a serious injury they can have a drink then. New fangled ********. What next - a manicure break? A shoe-lace retying break? Get shut.
I thought I read somewhere they were not continuing - only introduced due to playing in July which is hotter than the normal season Not sure about the Subs whether that goes back to 3 or the extras are still allowed
