This is the club leading us down the garden path again! Leading us to believe we're actually trying to sign him before eventually bringing in some overweight reserve midfielder from Celtic who we've never heard of. Then we're all left disappointed again!
Are you the Trumpster in disguise? He says everything twice for emphasis. I didn't realise you were a Reds fan. I take back all I say about you. You are a fine fellow.
No point getting excited as I don't see him coming over here..... Liverpool: It's the position they need to strengthen the least. Man City: The side is ageing enough. They need younger players not someone older than Aguero who's days at City are numbered. Man United: It would stunt the growth of Rashford and Greenwood. I suppose he could replace Martial but Sancho would be better to have than Messi as you'd get many more years out of him and he's not reached his prime yet. Chelsea: It's the back end of the team they need to strengthen, it would ruin game time for young English talent like Abraham and Abramovich doesn't spend money the same as he did in his early days there.
At 33, if he leaves it wouldn't surprise me if he went back to Argentina to play there - or at least another continent. He has won everything in Europe, he has enough money to do whatever he wants. Perhaps he wants a new challenge (China, Qatar, USA) or to return home - Argentina.
