    This is what is written on the article about him in the German paper yesterday regarding our link.

    Competition from the second division of England
    Because the competition at Hertha BSC is unlikely to get any smaller in view of Lars Windhorst's investments, the time seems to have come for Köpke to reorient itself despite a contract that runs until 2022. In addition to Nuremberg, FC Barnsley from England's second division is said to have shown their interest and would be more willing to sign Köpke.

    Nuremberg, however, is initially aiming for a loan. Hertha BSC would, however, prefer to sell the attacker, knowing full well that the transfer of two million euros transferred to Aue two years ago will not be recoverable. Ultimately, however, Köpke himself largely decides where his path will lead. A well-known environment like in Nuremberg does not seem the worst option to find your old strength as quickly as possible with more game practice.

    Not the worst goal record in the German 2nd and 3rd tier. 1 in 3 ish. Not had much of a chance at Hertha by the looks though, other than in their 2nd team who are in the 4th tier.

    Still at a good enough age to improve.

    Of course you don’t. I think the OP was alluding to the fact that we need a target man type of striker to offer us something different. I have to say I agree to be honest.

    To follow Nudger's logic, I'm 6'2" so I'm brilliant at football. Unfortunately I'm 57 and got a dodgy knee so maybe not

    Am wi nudge here.. why do we only sign diddy players.. Ludwig Friser and liam Burt all are or seem.short
    I know Dykes went out of our price range but surely he can't be our only strker above 6ft we're looking at
