I can't see him on the training videos. Day 3 you see the whole squad at once and he's not there. Reckon he's on the way out?
With the number of midfielders we've been linked with, there's bound to be one on the way. I get the impression Struber isn't a big fan of Bahre's. So I wouldn't be surprised to see him moved on if I'm honest, even if only on loan for now.
Well don’t get me wrong here because I’m a big fan of Struber’s but if I had to pick between Bahre and Ritzmaier I would choose midget Mike every time.
I think there’s little doubt that he’s surplus to requirements. He was Stendel’s man, and even then he was barely good enough for League One.
Think Struber made his mind up about him when he hooked him after about 20 minutes against Derby. He always promised alot but delivered little.
Real shame I think. Always looked talented to me and also put a shift in under Stendel. But does seem to drift in and out of games a bit much. When he did play well the whole team seemed to as well (both hull games, both Fulham games, Boro). But when he was bad it was almost like having ten men.
Extremely frustrating. On his day looks like he has composure, holds possession, controls pace of a game and can trick his way through midfield. Not on his day he looks like he is off the pace, heads not in it and cant pass a ball 2m. Unfortunately you need the former version of Mike game in game out at any level not only the championship. Its this lack of consistency that is the issue and i dont think we can carry too much unfulfilled potential at this level.
