30% Fans in grounds from October 1st

That’s the forecast atm providing Covid doesn’t rise any more. Would work out at 6900 at Oakwell and I’m guessing no away fans to start with.

Wonder how they will space us all out? Should be easy if we use all 4x stands.

 

Take into account people who sit next to the people they live with, plus those bubbled with others. Would free up some more spaces.

There is nothing official atm. It’s a government proposal that came out yesterday I think.

Not enough seats to cater as that stands. Will have to be worked out what games you will be allocated. By my reckoning having to forego 1 in 8.

Thought the same. but I believe the 30% will have no leeway. What I read was. They were experimenting with lower percentages first to see how it pans out. Re the risk.

Agree it’s barmy. Not the fans issue but the pub one. May have to take **** bottles in the ground. Don’t want pissed up Henry climbing all round me to get tut bog every 5 minutes. If you need a piss put a knot in it till half time and full time.

I wonder if there's scope to extend the capacity by having temporary stands in the North East and South West corners of the stadium.

I think it would be enough as plenty won't go due to commitments, having to get there far too early with staggered entry and not feeling safe enough that they want to go. Plenty of fans will have a fair few they sit with that they know personally which will help. For example a family of five will take up less space then five complete strangers who go to games alone.

 

No you aren't supposed to. But yes you can. My facebook has been full of pictures of people out in pubs posing for group photos ect for the last month or so.
This bubble thing is nonsense too. People are just visiting whoever they want, garden parties seem fairly common. Honestly I'm not actually sure what the rules are anymore as they kept changing so much I just gave up on it.

 

F*ck me, the blokes who sit by me are screwed then. One turns up at 10 past 3, then another goes for a **** at quarter past, he comes back then another goes for a pie at half past. Then the bloke who turned up late goes for a pint just before halftime (and returns about 20 past 4) . Mean time the other 3 take it in turns to go for a **** one at a time. I wonder if it really is worth them coming at all! I spend more time stood up than sat in my seat, lol
