It would be good if we could bring an old fashioned centre forward on when we are winning 1-0 but under the cosh in the last 20 minutes.
Simoes has to start in front of Ritzmaier.
I didn’t realise how quick Simoes is - lighting quick.
Frieser lively but should have scored - if that had dropped to Chaplin it would nearly certainly have been a goal.
    Oduor looks class.
    Andersen - a rock - brilliant display.
All round a good fighting display - but we need to sharpen up in the last third.
A few good additions to this squad and we should be flying.

PS ....... we didn’t miss Brown one bit.

And .......... we won’t face many tougher opponents than Nottingham Forest.
With the squad they have got they will be top 6 maybe top 2.
Which is also a good indication of how well we played against them.

I’ve never seen anyone compare players like you. Simoes and Ritzmaier don’t even play the same position?

We did miss Brown, he would have been a big improvement on Victor

Disagree. I have a lot of good mates who are Forest fans. They were astounded that they were even close to the top six, and reckon they'll be mid table this season. That's taking nothing away from us today by the way, they're still a solid, established Championship side.

Not sure about Forest tbh , I think we’ll have a tougher test next week ,
Been a good result for Luton in what looks like a good performance against a former prem team .
We’ll see what @Pelly has to say later hopefully .

Were solid. We are just missing a bit of flair and another old-fashioned striker. Good post nudge to be fsir ;)

Simoes was a distinct improvement on Victor though - not that Victor had a bad first half but Simoes is a better player. be interesting to see who starts up front next week - 2 from Chaplin Simoes Brown Adaboyajo Frieser - Cant see it being Victor though and probably not Frieser first game
I also think Rismaier will start ahead of Oduor

Didn’t. It appears we we can miss chances without Brown.

Not seen line ups but aren’t they supposed to field their strongest side ?
Still not a bad result though .

Agreed. I didn’t really fancy Victor in league 1 so I certainly don’t in the championship.

I would guess that it’ll be Chaplin and Brown up front with Woodrow just behind. Simoes and Frieser to come off the bench.

That would be my guess as well but I wouldn't be surprised at any combination of that 4

Struber does like an occasional change up so you could well be right.

Good result for Luton but Norwich had 15 first team players absent so that could have played a part. Will certainly be a decent test next weekend. The lad Collins scored a hat trick for them today and will be a big threat.

I think we have seen the last of Brown.
Gerhard likes him - so if he didn’t even get on to the field as a sub - then summerts going off - I suspect he’s on his way to somewhere like Brentford.

You could well be right. I would expect Brown to be back in the starting 11 next weekend against Luton but I suppose anything can happen in 7 days in football.

I think today he just wanted to give Victor a chance and allow Frieser to get some more English game time.
