It makes me think that a club employee is having a pop at fans who help pay his wages. We agree on a lot of things politically, sometimes I have to check that some of your posts aren’t ones I sleep wrote without realising, but other times I read your posts and can’t believe someone who represents the club can be publicly so sarcastic or passive aggressive towards the fans.
It’s not just the programme a lot of the articles on the official site refer to Grove Street ! Then we learn of the court action not a cospiracy theory just factual
Lol !!! That abart sums my experience up of going tut WELL. Nearly guarantee that as soon as I get tut lav and get mi c@ck art a big cheer goes up in the grarnd. .......... We’ve foooking scored agean !!
Does that include by your own admission when you stopped going and spent the time in the Old No7 pub or summert?
@YTBFC Change the name of the program fine but when players sign they dont sign for the program. They sign for Barnsley Fc at Oakwell and we play on oakwell not Grove St. When you use grove street you ought to be talking about the program and its content otherwise whats the point of branding it that and then using it for something else? When you use it for all a d sundry you have immediately caused confusion on your exercise. And the reason people are probably getting touchy about it is because of the constant smoke and mirrors that have gone off at the club over the last few months/years. People arent stupid and if you can’t use the name of the ground for legal reasons ‘the club’ should just say instead of diluting the name of oakwell. Nothing was seemingly going to be said to the fans about the court case until bfc fans saw the info in the courts which caused the post on the website. Again fans aint stupid. if all this is down to a decision the marketing department have made without any direction or agreement from above then you are going to score an own goal imho. people are getting excited at a potentially cracking season on the field. Lets not create a bad taste off it. And just to add i dont buy programs but i like the name for the program.
That’s got nothing to do with the debate though YT and I think it’s a bit patronising to supporters who have some questions tbh . Most supporters aren’t bothered about the programme name and that’s not what they are questioning as a stand alone concern , it’s the numerous other avenues our ground name is being changed and seemingly insisted upon being called . Maybe there is nothing in it but it seems funny to some of us and like all rumours etc until the truth comes out that’s what happens in any industry or corporation . If there’s nothing in it fair enough but to patronise and say it’s only the programme name change when it isn’t the only thing . Maybe some on here think it’s nothing and rubbish others concerns/enquiries etc but some posters that’s doing that have joined in on and fuelled conspiracies which I thought were stupid and rubbish . It’s hard to take your word when you’re saying it’s just the programme change whilst other club media outlets are also making the change imo.
I think it's pretty obvious the majority owners don't want where we play referred to by the name of a ground they don't own, hence Grove Street all of a sudden.
