I find it quite funny how many people are annoyed that the programme has been renamed grove Street when we do play at a ground on grove Street yet quite a few years ago now I was told by pretty much everyone on here that I was being stupid for criticising the club's decision to rename the junior reds club to Toby's Terriers despite the fact that the obvious name was Toby's tykes and that terriers was the nickname of Huddersfield.

The solution to stop all the conspiracy theories about the Consortium the Crynes The Ground and everything else is simple openness and candour from the people in charge of the club with the fans cut the ******** and spin and tell us the truth. Why havent the consortium paid the agreed installments on time what are their intentions going forward long term investment or short term profit grabbing sale to a.n other at first opportunity. What are their intentions re the ground and land why hasn't the ground sale happened. Both sides of the ownership have questions to answer maybe Mr Cryne Jr and Mr Conway and or Mr Lee should put themselves forward for a meeting together with the fans rather than sending Mr Murphy out to face the music. All we fans want is to feel Barnsley FC is in safe hands is progressing and will be playing at Oakwell on Grove Street in Barnsley for another 130 years. At the minute some don't feel that confident in the ownership. The owners could change this.

That is absolutely bang on and the worst part of it all is that because con way, Lee and the rest of the faceless owners are such cowards and refuse to face the fans it means that people like whitey get the criticism. It absolute stinks because the fans quite rightly are curious with our owners and have absolutely no trust in them and they know this. They know that anger and distrust has to manifest itself somewhere and they are happy to throw their employees to the wolves. Con way is happy to hide and send Dane Murphy out to face the fans, he's happy to hide and let the front line staff like whitey, Beth and all the others get the abuse and the criticism and he should be thoroughly ashamed of himself.

I really feel for Whitey here because he's a fan, he knows how important it is for information like this (ground issue) to be communicated but what can he do? His employer won't say a word because he's a coward and whitey can't go against him nor can he publicly criticise him. Just like the Stendel fiasco, I guarantee that whitey wanted to say more but couldn't. He knew the wall of silence was wrong but was put in an impossible position.

These owners need to grow the **** up, realise that their actions have consequences for innocent people, for employees that they have a duty of care for, and face up to the fans for once. If they can't do that then sell up and **** off.

And to whitey I apologise for assuming I know how you feel or felt and understand that you can't comment on it.

It's a shame I would have bought one too. Extra cash to our club and something to read.

I must admit I like the new name of the programme this is for various reasons, firstly way back when, I actually attended the grove street junior school which is sadly is no more. I used to live on Oakwell lane and walk up grove street to the stadium. Also when I was young kid when Barnsley used to play at Friday nights I can remember sneaking under the gates to watch the last few minutes of the match. Then before the stadium was redeveloped I can remember walking from one end to the other at half time. It only goes to show nothing stays the same. But I like the new name because it reminds me of these memories.

You're insinuating that the lack of fans has benefitted the defence presumably because the fans were on their backs for letting in stupid goals. Bet they're dreading the fans returning. The improvement to me is down to Struber getting them organised and the signing of Sollbauer. Andersen has improved with Sol alongside him. We went undefeated at home 2018/19 so how do you explain that given it's the same set of fans.

Haven't bought one in over a decade so firstly I'm not that bothered what it's called.
It think its much better than "be red" which could apply to anyone.
Personally I would have just gone with something with Oakwell in it. But no harm in trying something different, don't see what all the fuss is.
