STREAMING CODES FOR SATURDAY Club News 20/21 seasonal members’ iFollow codes for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship opener against Luton Town are to be dispatched. Continue reading on the official site...
Slight issue, I have 7 other family members who have season tickets. I’m pretty certain I’m the only one who has my email attached to my season ticket card. I get all our tickets. I’m guessing I will have to email the club to try get All their codes emailed to me and distribute that way?
What did the other family members do at the end of last season after lockdown ended? With all the issues going on and everyone knew we wouldn't be allowed to attend matches at the start of this season, you now wait until 4 days before the first game to add unexpected burden onto the club staff to get the codes out, possibly delaying the codes for everyone else. Did you not think to get their email addresses sorted out in the last 3 months?
Are you blaming a paying customer for something that the EFL and the club should be proactively addressing?
I'm saying he's had 3 months to get his other family members to update their email addresses onto their season tickets
Edit: It has never been a requirement until this moment for us all to have linked email addresses. I get all the tickets through mine and link them to their personal season ticket numbers so they get their loyalty points. Last season some received their codes through the Post. Those of us that didn’t someone kindly from the club sorted that issue privately. I’m not having a dig at the club I understand this isn’t their doing. I’m sure others will have the same issue and things will be sorted in time.
If the system allows one email address to cover multiple tickets, then it's the service provider's responsibility to address this on behalf of their customers, either through a technical solution or via a notice advising customers to update their details. It's called customer service. No one should have to have a to-do list for BFC and iFollow. The poster asked a genuine question.
I have a feeling that that wont work and you probably all need an eticket account I bought my dads ST for the last few years on my account but guess I will need to help him create an eticket account he will never use to buy tickets just so he can get the codes to watch the games he has paid for. Just hope you can create one without linking a credit card
There was an article on the Club's website before lockdown ended in June, to get their details updated to be able to watch the games in June and July. How is it then now a surprise to people? We knew weeks ago that we would still be behind closed doors this season. I fail to see what else the club can do in these difficult and unprecedented times. The club don't have a crystal ball and it sounds they are being led by the EFL.
Last season the code worked for all games and was posted out to those without eticket accounts It is only today we have been told it can only be done by email - if you want to have a go at anyone it should be the EFL - They have had several months to put in place a sensible solution with access codes that are valid for all games until fans are allowed in - this game by game approach just creates a huge amount of unnecessary work for the clubs. I have the same problem with my dad - he is well into his 80's and has an inherent dislike of registering for anything online unless its absolutely necessary - looks like he has now to create an eticket account he will never use to buy tickets but for the sole pupose of being able to get codes Why are the EFL doing this with such little notice - its those who are in the wrong not the poor customers who suddenly find they should have been jumping through some hoops
Can't you just take that burden away from him and set it up to one of your e-mail addresses and then forward on the code each week? Or text him it? That way your Dad doesn't ave to do anything outside of knowing how to use iFollow and what code to put in.
You're bang out of order. If someone had a ticketing issue 4 days before a game no-one would bat an eyelid. This is a substitute for ticketing and part of their job to help and address.
