Any reason you hate Brown so much?

Obviously he's not the greatest finisher in the world, but he's young, hard-working, pacy, can cross a ball and is incredibly fit which works well in our pressing game.

I'll await your articulated and reasoned response with baited breath.

All he's done his slate Brown and belittled others. I'm entitled to pull him on it if I want to.

I think lindsay was over rated by many but I think brown is underrated more assists than any other BFC player last season.

 

Worth 2+ add ons maybe as a back up. Would think my club were cuckoo. even knowing his abilities if they offered more than £3m+ no strings.

 

I don't think he's belittling others, he clearly doesn't like Brown and he's entitled not to.

I thought he weren't bad mind, but I'd be pissed off if we'd broke our transfer record to sign him.

 

He's better than what they've got and has a better attitude. Stoke are going to get rid of a lot of their underperforming overpaid players. I expect to read lots of posts on how we should be getting £ xmillion and we have undersold as usual. Next year's financial statements will reveal all,if we can wait.

 

If so, I'd say that's not too bad, especially if it allows us to keep Mowatt and Woodrow.

 

Why do you claim Brown & Lindsay are overrated on here? Surely it's just as valid to claim they're underrated on here? Surely, people are entitled to express their opinions and one individual has no right to pass their views as superior to others?

 

0.1 goals per game. How many chances 9 assists. You can do both ask Adam Hammill.
I can’t think of a Front player at the club. ( sure someone will look it up ) in the side I had less confidence in scoring given goals per chance ratio.
Including Smidt . This is my main concern. Many players can run their blood to water. A good attribute . But it doesn’t matter what division you’re in. As a striker Cum winger cum wing back. 0.1 is not enough to have me licking my lips at the prospect. If it was a player coming to Barnsley. He was great in league 1. But I have not seen him go to that next level. Hope he proves me wrong. I won’t take any pleasure if Browny fails. Some players I don’t give a toss. ( eg Lindsay) but not that many go on to better carreers and fall to the wayside.
God. When I think of the players that have not only failed to succeed. but completely screw up their careers through inability to progress or are 1 season wonders is too many to mention.

Which championship team is he at? Browns best position is a winger he is still only 22 and a experienced championship player at 22 kieffer moore and pinnock were still kicking balls in the vanarama in front of 800 fans I think brown will have a good career.

 

Hammill scored more than 4 goals in a Championship season just once in his long career.

He also assisted more than 9 times in a Championship season just once in his long career.

I adored Hammill, but you can't use him as a stick to beat Brown with.

He wasn't in my starting 11 so glad the club are cashing in. Never rated him. I think we have better players already at the club in Thomas, Oduor and Simoes and if we want to tonk it up pitch we should sign a proper target man instead of wasting a shirt with Brown.
