Who comes in to replace Brown? I hope the Jack Aitchison rumour isn’t a replacement. No offence to the lad but that does not one bit excite folk or put bums on seats!

Probably Woodrow moving back upfront, and Thomas or Simoes playing behind, where Woodrow was.

Oh haven't you heard? The fee is definitely £2million, someone on Facebook said so.

Said weeks ago on here we knocked back bids from stoke for brown and forest for Woodrow the brown one has happened. Be suprised if woodrow is still a barnsley player at end of this window.

The #revolvingdoor on Gidding’s tweet doesn’t instil much confidence. I do think we’ll lose Brown and Woodrow, which isn’t as bad as previous seasons, but still doesn’t fill me with as much optimism as others in how the season will go. I think we’ll be fairly solid at the back against a lot of teams, but we just never seem to have a striker that’s riding high on confidence for a decent period of time. The last time we genuinely seemed to have that in this league was with Vaz Te.

Must be as Mark Zuckerberg isn't one to allow lies to be said on his creation.

I really hope we don’t go with Woodrow & Chaplin. Both good players in their own right but both need to play off someone as they both like to drop deep & play as no. 10 & neither can do anything in the air or compete physically with centre backs at this level

He’s available for nowt too! Would he be worth a punt as a squad player? His attitude seems to be in question wherever he’s been so probably it’s a no go....

I thought Cristie-Davies was the replacement. Get someone in before not after you let someone leave.

If we could do a deal with Winnall , I would gladly have him back. He would be useful off the bench and then the ball would be in his court to force his way into the starting line up.

I know it would split the fan base as to whether this would be a good move or not. Unlikely to happen due to wage demands anyway but come the middle of October if he still doesn’t have a club then surely he would have to take whatever was on offer.

24 games and 2 goals in 2 years for Winnall. No thank you. Doesn’t fit our model either due to his age and high wage demands compared to our budgets.

Christie-Davies, the central midfielder, brought in to replace Jacob Brown, who played the majority of the season upfront?
