    Made me laugh that.

Used to radio commentary where facts can't be so easily checked :D:)

TBF he corrected himself after. They have to wait for replays like we do.

Co commentator wasn't much better, 'we know mowatt has the quality from this distance' did he see any free kick or shot last season?..... Suppose they like to put a positive spin on things, obviously I'd be no good.

Callum called Collins goal a snatch that could have gone anywhere. I thought it was a superb strike that was sweetly timed. The pair made out there was nothing between the teams. I thought we could have lost 4-1 and had no complaints. All opinions this Football malarkey.

Haha said the same thing when I heard his comment about the Ludewig strike.
What about the guy summarising when he tried to discredit Collins goal and said something like "that could have really gone anywhere". Nah mate it was a cracking hit.

Didn't Luton only have 3 shots and only 1 on target?

I'd say they had the better shots tbh but it was close. Collins is a class player for them no two ways about it.

He did strike it well, just not in the right direction :)

Yeah but I counted off targets attempts that should have been goals like I did to give us 1 goal.

I'd say they edged a fairly tedious encounter.

Luton had 3 shots. Yes, we were poor up front, but we had the best of the game, just didn't do much with it.

He made us chuckle when, after about 15 minutes, he said that the latest scores meant that we were now down to 5th in the table. Who in God's name takes an interest in the table after 15 ****ing minutes of the opening fixture?! o_O

You counted 3 shots but gave them 4 goals?

I didn’t think it was a 4-1 game to them at all. Yes, we were poor but I’m not sure they were that much better. I’d have said 1-1 would’ve been fair, if only Frieser had scored his sitter.

The only good co-commentator I've heard is Derrick Parker, everyone else is either dull, or just reads from a book of footballing cliches. at least he tells it how it is and doesn't patronise the listeners.

Have to partially disagree, I agree he always tries to tell it how it is and he is not patronising. However, his dulcet tones are a bit depressing even when we are winning. Always thought Scott Jones gave a good analysis on radio Dee darr. Brian Howard as well
