If he comes in and gives us competition for places and compliments Mowatt and Styles I'll be happy.

 

That may mean moving someone on sooner rather than later to balance the books this season.

 

We've already moved one on for a fee this window. There is also Radlinger, Pinillos, Cavare, Dougal, Wilks and Thiam off the wage bill from last season.

If they do need to sell another player or two because we'd be struggling financially otherwise, then so be it. But if that is the case, maybe they should stop using the cliches about reinvesting in the team in the press releases announcing departures.

 

Agree with the cost savings made already however the uncertainty of this season finances makes me think we wont break our transfer record, but if we did then maybe a player say Styles, if he keeps on improving, may go sooner than we/I would like. Not just about Mowatt, Woodrow, Struber etc.
