It shouldn't. But there is a sweet, sweet justice when the away side is awarded a penalty at Old Trafford, a balancing of the books if you like. Not to mention the Fergie Time they have been awarded over the years. Patata patada as Conway would say..

I don’t know about the penalties. VAR & the refs get the blame but they’re only following the new rules.

Man Utd really are dire though. Palace should’ve finished them off on the counter long before the penalty controversy.

They don’t seem to have any style of play or any tempo to their game. Pogba’s so pedestrian & De Gea’s looked to be following the same career trajectory as Joe Hart for the past two seasons.

They’ve got a lot of penalties through the pace of their front 3 but in open play they’re as bad as any Man Utd team post-Fergie.

I remember the days when they used to suffocate sides, attack after attack until the opposition succumbed late on.

I’d be flogging Pogba & De Gea, playing Van Der Beek & Henderson & going all out for a Lindelof replacement & a top forward. Ideally they need better full backs as well but they’ve already spent £50m & £30m on Wan Bissaka & Shaw.

Couldn't care less about them. Just think it's funny all their plastic fans going into meltdown., as though they have some divine right to be winning.

    Same to be honest .

Brilliant that they’re still paying about 300k a week to Sánchez as well

The Ref’s Assistant should be more than capable of checking to see if the goalie is charging the kicker. If they can’t judge that with the human eye, I can’t see how it would be affecting anything.

I don’t think there should be any rebounds allowed either (it would solve all the issues with encroachment). But, that’s another issue.
