I am just finishing my first Spaten Oktoberfest jwith another waiting in the wings plus 2 Lowenbrau Oktoberfest. Love my perfect draft machine and the beer choices are more than enough for me. Thinking of a leffe ruby with next purchase.

Have you tried the Aldi equivalent? Just on my first and it is very good indeed. In stock at the Royston Aldi (though I bought most of them....!). Very nice. Not quite as strong (6.2 vs 6.6) but a good alternative.

I made that mistake on Thursday. Elderberry beer - not the same beast at all. A long finish (longer than desired, anyway) with strong Calpol notes!

I'm thinking of buying a dispenser, the best two seem to be the PD and the Blade. which do you think i should go for. I drink lager but my mates are beer drinkers

I'm just waiting for black Friday to invest in a sub compact, its a bit smaller than the perfect draft and we can put it away.

Very limited choice on the blade, cost of lagers similar to Perfect Draft, but no IPA's on the blade (I don't think)
Depends how fast you drink too, 14 pints in the blade to 10.5 pints on the PD.

The Blade is a Heineken owned system. The other one is Budweiser Brewing Group owned (Stella, Becks, Budweiser, etc.).

That's why the former is mainly Heineken brands and the latter is mainly BBC brands (Spaten, Lowenbrau, Leffe, etc.).

How is your machine any teething troubles. Had mine about 6 weeks now gone through 4 kegs with 4 ready to go. Quick tip I bought a Halfords cool box for when we go away. When keg gets low drop next one in there night before and it’s down to drinking temperature as soon as you put it in. Probably work in normal fridge as well but other half wouldn’t like me emptying salad tray.

My weekend briefly consisted of moving round beer and having some form of system to store it pre fridge! Life shielding has its ups, you can see!!!

Only for the Mrs to have ordered 4 deliveries this week and we now need to find a 4th overspill area! First world problems!

Think mine took about a week. If you contact them on the help page they do respond. I was confused when mine turned up without any beer but they confirmed that the beer was on a second delivery and on its way.

I'm familiar with the units but haven't actually seen one in practice. Does the machine not automatically cool the beer once it's plugged in?

Sorry - I thought you were moving the mini-kegs around like everyone was talking about. My mistake.
