Completely different interview. That’s the written press piece that is exclusive to them. Then there’s the BBC Radio piece that again, we don’t use. A Sky piece, that we also don’t use.

    Our piece is our own.

    As is the ifollow piece.

So all in all, he and the gaffer did five separate interviews.

    They’re all out there somewhere.

It's me being daft, do they need to do 5 interviews? can they do just one piece?

Then Struber and the players can go and do the important stuff, like training and tactics etc.

Just asking, really hadn't thought about it before

He obviously needed time to settle , he was a young lad on his own in a new country, with team mates who on the whole hadn't much championship experience either and a defence that had all come together that summer. Great that he kept his chin up, worked hard and finally benefited from having an experienced pairing in Solibauer. No reason he can't continue on this path and in turn become the experienced one. I think his future is definitely bright and when we're allowed back I hope he gets the appreciation he's worked hard for.

Sky have it contracted so no getting out of that. As for the rest, that’s purely down to us. We could just bang everyone in the same room and film it ourselves (we used to) and everyone use the same piece. But we took the decision to give everyone a completely exclusive piece instead, including us.

It doesn’t get in the way of anything because we don’t do post-match press until the gaffer and players are ready.

Pre-match is different. That’s just one piece for everyone. Because doing five then would indeed get in the way of training etc.
