Lets have a look at what you could have won!!.............................Seriously though mate sorry to hear that its a rotten feeling!
If you fancy having some cinema themed nights at home, or binge watching some series etc. I've got the full hd package of netflix. Allows 4 concurrent streams. I'd bet I've never gone over 2. In fact I'd be surprised if my account ever showed 2 at the same time. Would be happy to let you have my log in details so you and the family can sit and watch a load of stuff if you can get streaming onto your TV. I'd even set you up your profile.. TheLils or summat
If it makes you feel any better. I can’t leave Conwy to visit anyone. My wife’s family in Wales or my own family in Barnsley.
sorry to hear this big buddy. Sadly county by county Wales is being shut down. We are in the Vale of Glamorgan , some of the boroughs in the valleys started to be locked down..... eventually the Vale was surrounded and allthough not on lock down we could not move from the Vale. As of 18:00 last night the Vale was locked . Ann's Mom is just 30 miles away and goes in for a bowel op soon.... she is 85 years old and very frail, sje will ahve to face her ordeal alone. Ann is in pieces. Its a bad situation for many and for many reasons. Keep yer chin up Mucker.
shut up you miserable old tart !, seriously kev they say there's a light at the end of the tunnel yeah, in my case it was a train, god only gives you what you can handle so chins up balders my old mate and stag on 'cos this to shall pass
What a let down - I can understand your disappointment. Sending positive thoughts from the Midlands and hopes that you can get an alternative sorted out, it certainly sounds like you deserve it!
Thank you to everyone who has posted their best wishes, along with very interesting suggestions. Due to my Drama Queen rant last night, I actually missed off the most important piece of information. We are unable to visit our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren due to the strict limit of six people (including children) meeting up in England. However, in Wales the limit was set at eight and it didn't include children under eleven. Therefore, we were going to all holiday together, giving Crystal & I the perfect opportunity to see the kids for the first time in over six months. There's no doubt we'd have smothered them in hugs, kisses, cuddles & love. Now, it could well be 2021 before we are able to see them. We're heartbroken.
Feel for you. I really do. I genuinely know how you feel. George only really knows his grandparents on Laura's side of the family due to Lockdown and restrictions. My parents haven't really had much of a look-in.
flipping heck mate, what can one say? It's no consolation whatsoever, but we have only been able to see the grandkids once this year We'll get through this, somehow....
I know Wales is locking down rapidly at the moment (my daughter is in Bangor so have an eye on the news), but could you consider Mid-Wales? Barmouth or Aberaeron could be decent places if you can book somewhere. Or even further inland nearer Rhayader? That would allow you to look at 8 people to comply with the Welsh rules and see your family in a beautiful part of the country.
