    Looks like we put all our eggs in one basket with kulenovic. Still doesn't excuse the fact we need a central midfielder and a left wing back.

    I can see BFC playing by the book again, and using any income (Brown?) to keep the club afloat and people employed. Quite right too.

    The downside to that is that there will be some teams - usual suspects - who carry on as normal, spending to strengthen who will be a division above us next year and more appallingly they will collectively shout "COVID" to avoid being wound up and allow them to continue in the same vein next year.

    These last two weeks were supposed to be an enjoyable time - a time when we brought in 3 or 4 players that would more or less guarantee a good 20/21 season.
    And everyday I look at this message board.
    And everyday it’s frustrating as hell to see that no one has yet signed.
    On top of that there are still rumours surrounding the manager.
    Its not been a pleasurable transfer window at all - it’s becoming a nightmare.

    Dane just came out and answered questions on several open topics in the last week. This is a crazy world we currently live in, so lessons learned from last season may not be able to be rectified this season. If we can tread water and survive as a club, and in the Championship this season, we will have been successful. IMHO.

    Scenario 1
    Struber leaves. We dont get anyone in transfer window but Woodrow and Mowatt leave.
    Scenario2
    We invest in a forward or two plus midfielder . Steuber impressed by boards willingness to back him and move the club forwards.
    Which do you think will happen . I suspect scenario 1 , I would like scenario 2.....

    The international transfer window closes 11pm on the 5th October but the Domestic transfer window doesnt close until the 16th. It will be interesting to see if we will carryout any business if at all. Signing's from abroad would need to be completed in the next couple of days, otherwise it will be domestic transfers only.

    They’ve been saying for the last 3 weeks that we’re getting closer and closer to these signings and Dane said last week that he was hopeful of things getting sorted this week regarding incomings and yet here we are again and not a dickey bird.Becoming embarrassing but remember we’ve no stress.

    I don't think there was ever any major signings intended. I don't believe you would get to this stage without any of your main targets through the door. So many glaring weaknesses in the squad.
