    I'm a bit disappointed that we've not had a Derek Riordan sighting, especially with Dane saying that area was definitely one that would be strengthened.

    Is the fax machine plugged in and stocked with paper?

    I would imagine any signings are on hold until Struber has officially left because if we do appoint a new head coach externally, he may want a different type of player than what GS wanted.

    Perhaps our boards reticence to splash the cash on a new striker is based on the fact
    that before this season ends, due to the lack of income due to the Covid 19 epedemic ,several
    Clubs in our league could well enter into administration leading to a 12 point deduction, whilst
    banking on the existing squad that we've got, being capable of getting sufficient points to scrape
    through similar to how we managed that last term.

    Only a third hand rumour linked to a pal supposedly itk at another club but I heard we were in for this guy - good presence at 6 foot 3 and a very decent goal per game ratio:-

    Considering all the uncertainty surrounding us and football in general I think signing a few quality loans would make sense for this season.
