Is criticising your boss really gross misconduct? I'm not saying it was smart, cos at some point you might want their support. Gross misconduct is fiddling yer expenses, downloading porn at work etc.
Maybe not gross misconduct. But very very stupid, unprofessional and disrespectful. Those owners, however good or bad pay his wages and gave him a platform to enhance his career. He is now kicking off after seemingly speaking to other clubs all summer trying to find a move away. For whatever reason he is still here now and performances are crap and morale amongst the fans is clearly crap also. We need the team and manager to show positivity to give the fans hope things can turn around, the comments he has been making the last few weeks have just done the opposite. The sooner he buggers off the better for me.
all got a bit $hit hasn't it? if RB was as nailed on as many of us thought (me included), he would have been gone by now and his comments could be considered a parting shot. in which case, fair f.cuks. the fact he hasn't already gone, suggests it might not happen. in which case he's done serious damage with his comments. probably untenable. another view is he's forcing the sack, to avoid a compo payout? either way, on top of everything else this is the last thing we needed.
Yup. I’ve said similar myself. Forcing the move. Red Bull May have agreed the fee - but may want to pay over 24months. BFC might want it all up front, so currently there’s an impasse. We’ll soon know. He flies out home tomorrow. Maybe a chat with the wife and confirmed by Tuesday?
Since the 1980s we have been hoping or praying for someone to come in and properly invest in the club. We have had a few false dawns and a good owner in Patrick Cryne but he didn't have the money to compete with other championship clubs. Typical Barnsley luck we finally get owners who have the money but don't want to spend it. Good on last few managers for speaking out the truth. I.e need quality.
In this piece on the BBC Sports website , Struber is using the past tense. Can only mean one thing, Auf Wiedersehen Gerhard. Gerhard Struber: Barnsley head coach questions ambition of Championship club’s owners https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54404316
Bringing the company into disrepute would be enough to be classed as GM. Anything that brings a negative light in the company can be used as such.
You should see his search history: - "Marcel Ritzmaier Measurements" - "How to piss off Clarke Oduor" - "The art of playing players out of position" - "Making substitutions and how to ignore the obvious"
The situation with Clarke is insane. He's a great player , and on the limited evidence available someone who might be able to whip a free kick in, or dip it well below Row Z
I don't think they would be as bad with our squad. They wouldn't freeze certain people, would not try to put square pegs in round holes and would put our attacking players on extra shooting practice if they do any at all.
