I don't like our owners, our board of directors, I'm not on their side at all.

But if I were them, and there were no potential of receiving compensation for him going elsewhere, he would have been sacked within seconds of the statement he made this evening.

The only reason this duplicitous fc*ker is still in a job is that we may receive a monetary value for him going. Why anyone would want him after the way he's acted, I don't know, but if they decide they don't, he's gone and hopefully never gets back in any job anywhere. And btw Paul, if he isn't offered the job in NY, and you have to sack him, give me a call and I'll give him a proper fc*king Barnsley kicking. He's a fc*king a ****.

Our owners aren't great. But they're not anit-Barnsley. This fc*ker is. He's an utter cn*t.

I wasn't going to bother listening to him, but I might have to now.

Bit stronger than i would have put it, but the amount of money we will get for him isnt worth not sacking him for straight away. Struber has acted disgracefully and i want him gone now, complete disrespect to our football club

I think he's trying to goad the owners into sacking him so Red Bull don't need to pay compo. He's said far more and worse, with less reason to, than Stendel got summarily dismissed for.

Or maybe possibly he’s seen the division and our squad and what could possibly be achieved with some actual backing.
I’d rather be self sufficient with fans or a Barnsley man owning the club with a dream than a billionaire consortium with nothing

I agree with you on most things, but not this. He's been left with a squad which only stayed up due to another club being docked points, and with Brown leaving he's been left with a squad which is, in real terms, weaker.

Apparently our owners are the most wealthy outside the Premier league. I'm yet to see it. I'm not expecting us to go mental splashing the cash, but I'd like to see us move to the next tier of a sustainable model. Like Brentford have - identify targets such as Ethan Pinnock/Ollie Watkins who are ******* mint but you might have to pay a 7 figure fee up front.

I can't shake the feeling that our owners are happy for us to oscillate between the championship and L1 and just skim the profit off when the signings can be sold on.

My view is the club want him to go. They’re quite happy to pocket the pay out from NY Red Bulls & I believe they feel they can go down the Watford / European route of constantly changing manager & getting an uplift in results when a new one comes in.

I don’t personally think they’re right & that we’ll struggle whoever takes over unless we sign a striker & central midfielder.

These owners do not care about us, It's all about how much money they can make. We'll said Struber, Stendel and Heckingbottom

He’s saying exactly the same as the last 2 bosses. Now they could all be in some great conspiracy or all be telling the truth. My money is on the latter.

I've had a listen and now I'm off to bed. I'm not sufficiently worked up to lose any sleep over it.

No problem with you disagreeing with me mate. I'm not right, it's just an opinion. But in that team today, that had no quality according to our manager, were players he'd signed. And the worst players in that team were the players he signed. If our owners hadn't backed him, hadn't given him any money, he would have been bang on. But they have. He's paid money for his Austrian mates, and they're bloody awful.

The previous two had a point though (to a lesser extent with Stendel but he did see top players leave).

I can’t resonate with a Head Coach who drops Walton, brings on Victor, plays a bizarre system, and continues to play Ritz despite lambasting quality in the squad. All in the knowledge he knows he’s got the safety net he’s leaving for New York next week.

Do I think Struber gave his all for Barnsley today? Not a chance. Did Hecky and Stendel? I think they did every single day.

It's not a conspiracy. I agree that our owners aren't great. I dislike them a lot. But he's still culpable. The players he's signed aren't good enough. And if you're failing, take some responsibility, have some back bone.

But he has actually been backed massively and it isn't the owners fault that he doesn't know how to get the best out of Woodrow or mowatt, that he didn't know how to get the best out of brown, or that he refuses to play oduor. It's not their fault that he is seemingly obsessed with playing Ritzmaier and his mates despite us having better players.

He is a joke of a manager who thinks he's god's gift when in reality he's absolutely useless, unprofessional in the extreme and is largely to blame for our poor performances.

Comparisons with him and struber or hecky are just not on for me, the situations and the level of backing are completely different

problem is, it will probably be someone other than Ritzmaier with the next manager.
