    My guess is red bull group are playing silly buggers re Struber fee and comment re Ludewig is some half arsed petty attempt at retaliation.

    I think there’s a little more to it. Might even be a contractual thing where they had to use the word ‘inconsistent’.

    It’s that bizarre to mention that, that there has to be a reason for it.

    Nah just we are really **** at behaving like a professional football club. Ran by someone totally out of his depth. Not sure who he thinks he’s going to attract some big European team to want him as a CEO based on this total farce.

    A young lad like Ludwig who's been one of our better players gets slagged off by Dane but shitsmaier who plays football about as well as I shag gets no mention of the fact he's been consistently awful.

    The position in the attacking midfield that has become vacant does not remain empty. We can already announce a new addition: The SK Rapid secures the services of Marcel Ritzmaier. The 27-year-old is on loan from English second division FC Barnsley for a year!

    We are very happy that we managed to win Marcel Ritzmaier over to us. He is a player who has enjoyed a very good education and can be used universally. We expect a lot from him and hope that he will help our game from the start.

    At the tender age of 17, Marcel Ritzmaier moved from SKA Kärtnen to PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands. At the traditional Dutch club, the native of Styria made it into the professional squad via the U19s and subsequently via the second team. Marcel Ritzmaier celebrated his debut in the Eredivisie on September 23, 2012 in a 3-0 home win over Feyernoord Rotterdam. After several loan positions in the Dutch first division, the midfield motor :D finally landed at WAC in the summer of 2018. In Lavanttal he developed into an absolute top performer :D and leading player. In winter 2020 he switched to his ex-coach Gerhard Struber at FC Barnsley, for whom he has made 22 competitive appearances across all leagues.

    Marcel Ritzmaier on his new role: “I am very happy that I have finally arrived in Vienna. It is a great honor for me to be able to wear the green and white jersey for the coming season. The anticipation for the upcoming tasks as well as for the team, the fans and the entire club is huge.
