There hasnt been a Government since March. The country is essentially run as a dictatorship regardless if it is England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Everything's being rammed through under the Cornoavirus powers. Bascially whatever Boris Handcock and Dr's Doom and Gloom decide during their circle jerks.
Completely agree, I think for all occasional bickering and frank discussions on here, we'd be able to put together a better cabinet than what's currently in charge.
Nothing on my feed, other than that Prince of Men, Sunak, so here's a little song for him: Sunak, yesterday my life was actually OK Sunak, thank you for where I am today Now the bright days are gone & the dark days are here Sunak, you are so in-sin-cere Sunak, one so true, **** you. (Melody by Bobby Hebb).
As someone with a vested interest in the arts (I own a promotion company) its a fcukking disgrace how the government are attacking the arts and showing a complete lack of support. Some of my mates are self employed Music producers/DJ/Performance Artists and theyve been left in the lurch. No way to get anything to subsidise them and their families. Nightclubs are being left to shut left right and centre as they can't afford to stay closed without financial support. Interestingly some of these venues are prime real estate. Fabrik for instance was recently attacked by the council around drug usage and were almost forced to close. Fabrik is on some of the most costly land in the world. This government could support the arts, but refuse to do so. In the future we will have next to nothing left to enjoy. I feel for the generations that follow.
At least the 25 year old rift between Blur & Oasis is over. They are now branded "luvvies", along with Sue Perkins (I assume as she is gay). https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...unak-suggesting-retrain-different-career.html
