    How are we meant to attract decent players without a head coach?

    If we get one in they can only sign from English leagues so you would think a British manager with knowledge of the homegrown players would be a good idea.

    No doubt we will announce someone from outer Mongolia the day after the deadline.

    As Hecky said about Stendel - he dosen’t know the English league.
    So the master plan of appointing a continental coach and bringing in good young continental players to develop - and mould them so they can play in a high tempo pressing game - has more or less been thrown out of the window with the bath water.

    You do realise they only get to choose between some players identified by the recruitment team. That we think can afford regardless of where they are from?
