But he’s not saying he is supporting the owners is he, he’s saying he’s supporting the club. Owners come and go.

I know, you were the one who mentioned owners and policy not me :)

My point was simply that football is a sports the aim is to win as many games as possible and compete at the highest level possible and while I wouldn't withdraw my support based on the league were in I wouldnt enjoy watching us get relegated by two divisions. The idea that that would be enjoyable is crazy

Cauley has 36 goals in 80 starts. How many do you want a forward to ‘actually score’. Glad you aren’t shouting out forwards.

But why shouldn't fans want there club to progress rather than be a retail outlet for footballers. I see no reason why I should go and watch Manchester City but that's often the response I get from the happy clappers when I'm criticising the 80% mob I've watched the reds in the old 4th division on a cold snowy January day was it as good as watching then for the majority of the time I've supported them in the championship no was it as good as watching them in the PL no. I want success on the field for my team not stagnation or decline

currency fluctuates all the time. The pound in your pocket is worth much less than it was pre brexit for example.

Wr should be asking him what system will bring the best out of you and play that. As it stands his goal potential will be the only outside chance we have of staying in the division.

Dunno is it your ambition to watch us lose every week. If not why not?

What relevance is past scoring record if he isn't scoring now or for some time? I can find you a 40+ year old in league 2 or below who's probably scored more so should we sign him?

What a stupid thing to say, where have I indicated that I want them to lose every week ?I do not have ambition regarding the reds , of course i want them to win & play at the highest level but I simply enjoy going to Oklwell watching the team I love & I am fed up of repeating it , I said its great when they win & I hurt when they lose , but for me watching football should be for entertainment, not the result being the be all & end all .

Sorry but watching a team lose the majority of the time because of the way it's run isn't entertainment it's torture. I accepted us getting spanked every now and again in the PL because it was uncharted territory for the club I'm sorry you just cannot say that about the championship we've spent more time here as a club than any other. We are in this **** because of the way the 80% mob have chosen to implement the recruitment and retention policy at the club their mantra of profit above performance or position is the problem.

I am not sure why you are going on at me , I have never mentioned the championship , I have made my point about watching the reds, what ever division they are in , I do not think I can be any clearer .

Over the last 20 years, save for the year 2000 itself, we've been up and down between tiers 2 and 3 and barely made a mark at this level. Feel free to complain about things not changing or getting better, but there have been three different owners over those years and this is us. Lower end Championship, top end League One.

    Nice little graphic here:

I agree you pay your money...its then up to the individual what they deem is enjoyment and entertaining........
At the moment in my opinion neither can be placed in the same sentence with ...Barnsley
If you think differently then fair play..not wanting to fall out and score points.but .all I can say is..... you must be easily pleased....if you are finding what's on offer as satisfactory....

To be fair I never said I that I find every every slump in form , fortune , result or state of the club satisfactory but I always look forward to match day , I look forward to seeing my club & whilst the result is obviously very important as we all want them to win & we all dislike them losing but in the cold light of day its an entertainment & I believe you take the rough with the smooth & had it been all about the result or league position then I would have packed it in 1963 not long after I first started watching them .

Not all.players become bad eggs in the dressing room. A lot will accept that for the club the right time to leave is not now, particularly with 2 years left of a contract

A good striker doesn't just stop scoring forever.

Yeah the match day experience meeting up with friends the atmosphere both home and away can at times be electric but sadly what we have witnessed of late on and off the field has been a shambles
I too can remember those dark days when if you got asked if you were staying until the end and you answered yes.....some bloke would give you the keys and ask you to lock up...adding dont forget to turn off the lights..lol
