So looks like this guy might be ahead in process for now, looks decent on paper.

Had Lask top of Austrian league before lockdown, was docked 6 points for not social distancing during training effectively handing Salzburg the league.

Plays a 3-4-3 from looks of things so not a massive change from what we've been playing whilst using our wing talent. Also where Freezer was signed from so he knows him and did well under him.
    Europa League experience coach also.

Seems good on paper and maybe a more attacking version of Struber with more 'big' team experience.

Re reports that #barnsleyfc are considering coaches Valerien Ismael and Alexander Zorniger to succeed GS, I’m told that Ismael is of interest, Zorniger isn’t, but neither are thought at this stage to be the principle target.

What that says to me is that Zorniger is definitely not in the running, where Ismael maybe.. and no more than that.

The last twice we've got a coach in they were almost in the job before we even had heard their name mentioned..

    Red Herring for me..

Except another source online who got Struber correct in past, said Struber recommended them both. I think that likely holds some weight. So if one isn't interested or not wanted. Other seems likely

But you've said Ismael if the front runner when our local journalist has said the opposite?

He said he isn't yet the front runner, could literally be a 2 person race still, but I think it's going to be this guy. Fits in lots of ways.

I'll try again mate in case I wasn't making sense. You've started a thread saying Ismael is the front runner but our local journalist has said he isn't the front runner. Saying 'at this stage' would lead you to think that it will require someone turning us down for us to get to him, if we even want to.

Doesn’t seem to stay very long at a club which would fit in nicely with our club policy.

    Herr Cutts?

Seriously though, I two butchers shops in West Melton owned by people named Cutts, perhaps my memory is playing tricks but I think one of them was E Cutts. Can anyone verify this?

I'm probably in the minority here but I don't really fancy another foreign coach. Perhaps it's my age.

Not fussed about another foreign coach if I’m honest.

Neither of the Hesse two names rally scans into the "................'s Red and White Army" song so I think we need to keep looking. "Walking in a ............... wonderland" doesn't quite work either.
