This little meaningless phrase is almost as ubiquitous as "so". What does "Going forward" add to the discussion, as opposed to what? Going backwards or Standing still?
I honestly think we're good going forward, but we lack something in the final third. The final ball has certainly been lacking for a while now. I honestly think it's a creative midfielder we're missing although another striker will come in dead handy.
It is also a pet hate of mine. Though it does depend on what sentence it follows I agree. I remember Eddie Jordan on the old F1 coverage constantly saying it pretty much after every concluding sentence. Was annoying.
