Excuses, excuses!!![/QUOTE] Yes - I blame my mum for a lot of my failings... colour blindness, arthritis, cholesterol....but mainly for marrying my dad 'cause he had cardiac issues that have been passed on,,,,,,
re multiple choice q's - my schoolteacher niece says that when her junior class do Ofsted?? multiple choice tests - -- there is always someone in the class who they expect to do very badly but in fact does extremely well because by pure luck they choose the right option. re theory test - presumably the questions are changed frequently ??? (daughter once had boyfriend who had an identical twin brother - one was a natural driver one wasn't - failed his test numerous times - then they found a solution.......) a driving question - recently heading for Leeds from Jct 37 - down slip road - M1 exceptionally busy - couldn't get on carriageway so was at a standstill at bottom of slip road. Should I have waited for a gap or should I have driven on hard shoulder and got on carriage way when a gap appeared And, finally why is it the bigger the car the less likely you are to get an acknowledgement from then driver if you are very courteous to them.
Fair enough. PM me your full name and address, date of birth and bank details and I'll get on it straight away.
problem is my car (YS07) can manage 0-60 in 6 hours so it would have to be a massive gap and would probably cause problems for vehicles behind.
17/20 I thought I'd do better than that. There are a couple of questions where the answer is debatable particularly the one where the right answer was "both of the above"....
Just lost 45 quid booking at bogus theory test website, book at DVSA site ,its only 23 quid, crooks will rob people anyway they can https://www.gov.uk/book-theory-test (official one)
Its not mathematically impossible - I could take that test and deliberately get zero if I wanted to If you guessed the answers you would probably get 6 or 7 but if you are a particularly bad guesser you could get 0 The chance of getting one question wrong from 1 is 2/3 = 0.67 The chance of getting 2 out of 2 questions wrong is 2^2 / 3^2 = 4/9 = 0. 44 The chance of getting 20 out of 20 wrong is 20^20/3^20 = 0.0003 or around 1 in 3325
You dont drive on the hard shoulder except in emergency or if directed to do so so yes, you'd have had to wait for a gap in traffic.
