Our postman, who is a Man U fan by the way, so nothing clouds his judgement, always says about Liverpool and its people "Always the victim, never to blame."
There does tend to be a teeny bit of truth in that sometimes, doesn't there. All rights and no responsibilities, like school kids.

First of all mate the army were never used in the miners strike, a myth. Some police officers removed their badge numbers and people put 2 and 2 together and got 5, believe me it never happened ( and if it would have them soldiers who would now be out would have been paid loads by the media to tell the tail and whistle blow, load of crap buddy), we had powers of arrest in Northern Ireland but we very very rarely used it due to if we did we would be taken off the streets meaning a man down, if we had issues we spoke to our RUC colleague who was with us ( we were their ro assist the RUC, not the other way round) the reason our government and previous governments have never used the army in public order on the mainland is because of peoples perception, generally the army and the other two services are well thought of and the majority know its the blame of the government for sending us to places and not the fault of the young lad who joins for a military career, you would never see the military in full public order gear stoving the head in of people on our/ their streets, wont happen, thankfully

He was planning a bit of a coup at the time that would have put his brown shirt thuggish army on a level with the regular army but Mr Hitler and his SS friends soon saw through that.
Unfortunately for Rohm they chose a moment when he and his comrades were indulging in a homosexual free for all so it didn't boost his credentials.
Rohm was an unbearable person if you got the wrong side of him. So Hitler sorted him out and the rest of the 3rd Reich went swimmingly as we know.

A plethora of people who don't social distance properly and aren't hygienic enough IN ANY SETTING.

Bin the "Hands, Face, Space" public information film and replace it with "How to wear a face mask" and "How to sanitise properly".

Drinking heavily isn't conducive to staying COVID safe. How do you stop people drinking heavily AND keep the pubs open? It's the usual problem of a sizeable minority spoiling it for the majority.

i,ve been in a number of pubs and wmc of late and have to say, they have all been run very well and the customers have behaved very well, 3% shouldn,t see them singled out, as i say, if the government are convinced that the problem lies with the hospitality sector, close them down and support them financially, they,re allowing them to stay open so they don,t have to support them financially whilst at the same time tieing their arms behind their backs, the way things are going, when this is all over, our town centres will be like ghost towns...

    I think that’s what’s called martial law.

Are you saying you agree with the measures they used against miners? Wow.

If it's good enough for me, my family & friends, it's good enough for anyone.

I wonder if he agreed with the posters put up round Manchester a few years ago, "96. Not enough"?

I agree there were lots of Leeds and Liverpool fans that sang about Munich.

Whataboutery at it's finest. Some ignorant and intolerant idiots sing obnoxious songs, therefore more ignorant and intolerant idiots (along with their apologists) justify their odious behaviour.

No Lil, I don't think for a second he's like that. He is a very decent lad but has to be blatantly anti-Liverpool, simply because of his Man U sentiments. (It's in their blood, you know)
They could always throw back the Munich disaster if they wanted but then all hope would be lost ... everywhere.
