That’s the real positive people should be taking from this. For years now people have criticised the no loan policy, irrelevant of the reason why, it’s a positive that approach has changed. People complain they don’t listen or learn, well maybe they do/are.
That’s some feat for a bloke whose only 5’3”....or 5,8” who is left footed...or maybe right footed and who is allegedly useless but we would prefer to sign him permanently rather than on loan.
I guess we'll know if they've learnt from their past mistakes between 5pm and 6pm tonight once all the last minute deals are announced and we see what the squad looks like then. I just hope they don't spend the day announcing signings then kick us all in the teeth right at the end by revealing that key first teamers have left at the last minute.
It amazes me that people can say they are not learning/adapting. They were criticised about communication, they now have concerted efforts for the club to communicate more regular, they were criticised for refusing to look at older players, they addressed that last season, they were criticised for lack of loan players, that’s changed. Yes they’ve made mistakes, yes they will still mistakes and yes they still have much to do, but credit where credit is due.
Just seen the same which would be an excellent piece of business. Hopefully will be a lot clearer in next couple of hours
With so much doubt around the future value of players in the current climate the sensible approach would be to cash in on the players contracted to the club and go down the loan route. This could be the board’s tactical master stroke in the survival of the club.
1.25 million with 15% any future transfer fee being agreed. Looks like he’s ours permanently which I’m personally over the moon about
Same. Quality player, snapping talent from prem teams academy is much preferable to signings nobodies from abroad or league 1 for similar money imo. Lots of them come good and end up being decent players in this league.
So I take it that you do not want us to sign anyone now as they will all be panic signings? UNBELIEVABLE
Yeah I think it's hot air from Darren Moore. I reckon the Whiteman deal will go through if we sell Mowatt and Doncaster get their targets.
