    Kane, James & Mowatt is an excellent midfield 3. Or you can play a diamond & play Styles as well or Styles can go wide left in a 3-5-2.

    James is pretty injury prone anyway & Mowatt might get sold & we’ve a heavy schedule so there’s lots of chances for everyone to play.

    I really hope Mowatt gets back to playing on the left of the diamond where he was one of the best players in the league. I would’ve played Halme as the sitter to allow him to play there but James is a massive upgrade on him.

    I’d like us to sign a target man & work horse to play alongside Woodrow & to sign a left back with Adeboyejo & Miller leaving & also Bahre if we aren’t going to use him & that’s a good days business for me.

    Hard to say when you don't have a Head Coach!

    I've always been of the belief that our midfield has been our weakest area rather than our attacking options. Too reliant on players like Styles and Simoes who are completely new to starting a season as Championship regulars, coupled with the continuous bizarre selection of Ritz.

    Adding James and Kane really does give us some proper quality and plenty of options. It allows Frieser and Thomas, along with Simoes, to be used wider rather than more central. Gives you Chaplin and Woodrow as proper strikers. And means you can play a central three, a diamond, or a midfield four quite easily.

    “Matty needs some games now to get up to full speed but it’s certainly no hardship having Matty around because he’s a fantastic guy and a great footballer.”

    Rolls Royce of a player. But, he's not played any consistent football for 3 years and isn't the most mobile.

    Him and Mowatt would be a pretty slow midfield, so hopefully Styles, Kane, Palmer and Christie davies make up for that.

    But, blummin hell I'd take Matty James on crutches over many a player.

    Be mental for them to play **** because they dislike the coach. Would make zero sense. Why sabotage their own futures like that? Affect their team mates and the club who pay their wages?

    I see. You meant won't play, as in won't perform, not refuse to play.

    That's pretty subjective then. I'd argue that our key player hasn't really performed post-lockdown, and the team as a whole hasn't performed so far this season. Probably because of Murray.
