The fact remains Cauley has produced the last two seasons and there's still plenty of this season left.
okay but when you buy a player you pay based on form not previous form, Toney has been scoring for multiple season and now doing it again. So saying Cauley is worth the same money is stupid, proven by the fact he’s stayed as no one was willing to pay for him
pretty much any pro player can score a pen if given them to take. And no we are talking about 4 games and the second half of last season where he barely scored and then didn’t score in restart
He was a lot calmer than me with that penalty! Oh, and by the way, he’s a better player than Toney as well.
Subtle difference Toney was playing against Coventry and was lucky with his first and couldn't really miss with his second. We were playing an hitherto unbeaten Bristol City and having seen his teammate lying injured on the turf, Cauley had to wait until the 12th minute of added time to very cooly convert the spot kick. Main thing and only important consideration in this matter, is the welfare of Sollbauer. Hope he's OK and fit enough to face Stoke in midweek.
I'm not sure but I dont think brentford side is as strong as last season. If your asking who do I think is the better player I'm not entirely sure toney will score more championship goals than cauley, and he is a totally different player to the 19 year old kid we had on loan from Newcastle.
Do we really need to compare Toney and Woodrow every time Toney scores? Because if he gets 20 this season, which he could well do), it will get old fast.
