..bagging for fun, why did we get rid of him? Why didn’t we give him a 2nd chance...

We were crying out for someone with a bit of physicality, we already had it...

    In league 1.

I don't think he was that physical anyway, failed to get involved enough for us.

He wasn't given a chance here really, I thought he had huge potential to create problems for the opposition.

He looked decent for us first few games then looked terrible at best showed no interest or effort. Think the same will happen after a few more matches at his current club.

He scored a few for them in this league last year.

I agree didnt get a run of games, if he had the same chance that ritzmaier was given we could have seen a different player

Been saying it since last season, he was poor along with the majority of the squad but others were given more time. Poor business really when you consider how one dimensional we are up front.

What I saw of him for Hull last season, he wasn’t great. No pace and lacking mobility. Yes he bagged a few, but there wasn’t much in between.

Not seen him this season, so can’t comment. But he should do well in L1.

Hull as a whole werent great but I think he was definitely one of their better players.

I think at the minute, league 1 is probably his level.

I did want him to get more of a chance with us though.

Would anyone take him over Chaplin? I certainly would...

One of the few things that annoyed me with Struber was that he pushed him aside without ever seeing him play. The other thing was letting McGeehan go. Ok he had his limitations but he was a sight better than Ritz who replaced him

Wilks, McGeehan, Cavare, Thiam etc.. all better than some of the current crop that we have and we let them go.

    At this level? Really?

I would take Jordan Williams over Cavare all day.

McGeehan has had 2 chances in this division with us now and not looked up to it both times.

Wilks, I’ll partly agree as I thought he should’ve had more of a chance with us. Not sure he’d have got the goals that Chaplin did last season though.

The less said about Thiam at this level the better.

Cavare’s a better player than Williams - this formation would suit him too.

McGeehan wasn’t given a chance by Struber and wasn’t given any go in his natural position.

Again Thiam wasn’t given a chance last season.

Another post says we need an hairy arsed striker. To apply this logic, If Thiam's arse was hairy, given its size, he should bang in more than Vardy

Cavare and Williams have different attributes but I must say William's really is taking his chance and looks hungry to improve. I must say I wasn't really sold on him to start with, but when I reminded myself how young he is he's not doing too shabby.

Not given a chance. We had to endure Ritzmaier all this time yet Struber shipped off wilks without giving him chance. At least wilks had potential.
