Maybe other places, I don't know, issuing on the spot fines to people socialising not from the same household.

It is your responsibility to prove you're from the same household, as in every member of the party provide documentation with their name and the same address.

That should speed up the death of the sector.

Crikey, id best get myself a manbag then. Actually that would be a double win as i'd
    A) have somewhere to keep i.d
    B) i could entertain myself for hours telling myself what a twot i look.

The fines ... where does the money go?
    Into some nameless police pot?

The mistrust is hardly surprising given the number of people publicly threatening not to comply with things.

How long do you have been part of the same household?

At a guess, I'd say she's stuffed until she gets something that proves her new address.

She is now part of our 'household' , not permanently of course only temporarily but part of it all the same.

We've broken them every day since the new ones came in. Up to that point i had followed them completely despite being against lockdown.
I will not let my wife and children suffer again like last time.

I get that, but the thread is about ID. For me, if there were ever any official questions asked about where she lives, then your say so should be enough, but we're living in strange times.

Technically the Police have the power to arrest someone if they have committed an offence and they can't verify their identity. One hopes some common sense prevails on both sides. If you have a bank card and with someone who has the same surname on their bank card and looks like your daughter you would hope that would be enough. You might be part of a support Bubble anyway. Or....do the rules technically say you can enter someone's house if you are part of a bubble but that you can't socialise??

Maybe just maybe if everybody stopped being so bloody precious and stuck to the rules and advice the bloody disease wouldn't be so rampant up here and the restrictions could be safely eased eventually. The reason we are in this **** is because too many morons spent the summer pretending it had all gone away and I include Boris and co in that with their mixed messaging. Because of my job I've spent the summer travelling round the country visiting shops pubs restaurants etc and worn a mask and gloves throughout but some of the scenes in places like Skegness Scarboro Blackpool etc were incredible absolutely no social distancing hardly any masks being worn. I've been in pubs where the rules were being ignored completely. The responsibility for the virus being rampant again lies in two places the government and the people who continue to act like Covid doesn't exist either through complete stupidity or wilful defiance. The people who moan about the restrictions not working are the same ones who continue to ignore them and so lessen there effectiveness. Maybe if everybody would have acted in the common good over the summer and not pretended like Covid had gone away we'd be in a different place now but they didn't and we are in a very bad place again because of that.

Support bubbles are gone in level 2. No going to people's houses, no socialising. I live alone, it is illegal for me to be with anyone inside, apart from at work.
