I don't think they are actually are when I read the rules last. Though the fact they change daily and different regions still have different ones does make it difficult.
Support bubbles are gone at level 2. No one is allowed to visit anyone else's house or garden. No one is allowed to socialise indoors with anyone from another household.
So our March 2020 lockdown successfully prevented winter from continuing, but we relaxed too much and we are now going into a second wave of winter unless we lock down again?
According to this support bubbles still allowed https://www.gov.uk/guidance/local-c...you-need-to-know#local-covid-alert-level-high
If you’re a single person living alone you can attach yourself to one other household. That’s my understanding anyway from what I’ve read
Then you’re a ‘bubble’ and are treated as the same household anyway. but there’s an interesting burden of proof; how does my stepson prove he lives alone?
It's got nothing to do with the season we are in and everything to do with morons not following the advice / rules, last time I took notice it wasn't exactly cold and damp in India but Covid is rampant there.
I think Jay is totally confused as different places give different advice and the police yesterday certainly wouldn't allow anyone from different households to mingle, support bubble certainly wouldn't have spared you from a fine
I was being somewhat facetious, sorry. Short of a complete nationwide lockdown for a lengthy period of time and closing all borders indefinitely, a virus will spread. All the restrictions are doing is delaying deaths not stopping them.
I went and doubled checked as I could quite easily have been wrong too, it's very confusing. These fines being handed out don't sound good at all. As I say all it will do is shove people into each others homes.
