Idiots. A never ending stream of idiots. My top shelf exhibits, and there's a number of them now, are those that I anger by reading up about things and acquiring knowledge on a subject before feeling comfortable enough to talk about it. Knowing what I'm talking about, having an understanding of what I'm actually saying, is, apparently, something to criticise, where as shooting from the hip and talking utter ***** because you believe it is fine, even when it's resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. (None of this applies to football. While I have played it and watched it my whole life and it is such a simple game, the subtleties within are still beyond my grasp. If I ever say anything remotely close to the reality, it's pure luck).
I owe you a DM reply (will do it tomorrow). You can also have some of my BrewDog cans of Fanzine beers that haven’t been drunk yet if you’re interested. 50/50 chance the beer inside is any good
I'm glad it's not just me! We don't have an attic though, which is part of the problem! I have a lot of Soviet originals in duplicate. If you're interested drop me a PM. I'm looking either to sell, or to trade for a nice board.
Some of those early chess computers are extremely desirable, especially if they're still boxed. Does it take several hours to ponder one move?! What a devastating story about the Northern Soul records. I know at the end of the day they're only objects, but music is so much more than that.
Soinds good to me mate! My favourite of my current collection is a Radio Zombie Phone In, which will look excellent in our new grey, steampunk themed second bedroom!
I've a collection of Barnsley Mugs (no jokes please!). Also I collected Code 3 US Fire Trucks. Sadly they no longer trade and the cost of them on ebay is prohibitive.
I sort of collect guitars. Fender Strat Epiphone Les Paul (technically not mine now, I gave it to my son) Tanglewood Electro-Acoustic Fender Squier Precision Bass Fender F65 Jumbo Acoustic (at my sister's in Spain)
