    It’s set in the 21st Century, on an island ruled by a fascist dictatorship. After the Great Plague and Food Rebellion the dead lay unburied in the streets as Special Security patrols hunt down enemies of the people.
    The dictators’ vision of battery-farming slaves for profit has almost been realised. But one man stands in their way. In the northern wastelands the resistance fights on, led by a shadowy figure who goes by the name of ‘Young Nudger’.

    Thing is nobody would believe that - the Nudger bit.

    When do you write the bit about the slaves signing their own serfdom documents, because the mind-controlling toad-blancmange hybrid convinced them it was in their own interests?

    Look I can't give the ending away. But the finale of Johnson and Cummings v Nudger and Hecky at the top of Emly Moor is worth the wait.

    I hope you've got some freedom fighters in this. I don't care if we lose, but while 95% of folk are willingly signing up to this you've got to acknowledge those of us who aren't, if you want your book to have any sense of realism.

    There's no sense of realism in it. How can there be? It's based on the Cummings Johnson Dictatorship. Fact is fiction, what's real is fake, the truth is lies, freedom fighters are the enemies of the people
