If I didn't have a child at school I probably wouldnt bother as I'm at home all day and I don't go supermarket shopping.

 

Neither I think mate. You can only form a support bubble with a single person (ie person who lives on their own). The purpose is to support that person so they can see over people in a controlled way. You can only form one support bubble too, not multiple ones.

Seperate to that essential childcare arrangements can continue, but that is meant to be if at work, after school etc for under 13s and not overnight care.

 

Sorry I worded that terribly. Both grandparents, if in the same household, can provide essential childcare for you, which I think is what you were asking?

You can't have different sets of grandparents forming childcare bubbles with you though.

I know what the rules say, but "in my opinion" wearing a mask round elderly people in their own homes is obligatory. It's not complicated and yes people will do as they wish. Thanks for pionting that out.

 

Yes. We phoned Age Concern to make sure my wife could travel from Wakefield over to Doncaster
to care for her Dad who is 86, on any day or at any time her brother who lives in Doncaster, is unable
to call in and see him. Because of Parkinson's, he needs help with dressing/ undressing, washing himself,
preparing meals, laundry and Supermarket shopping. He pays for a cleaner to call and a gardener to tend
the lawn, hedges and shrubs etc.
