Just wanted to say I don't think he's getting the praise he deserves. New signing, straight into the team, and he's done his job very, very well all things considered. Not like it's been the most stable few weeks at BFC. I hope he can keep it up.
I always believed that a good Centre half would never get dirty. They’d intercept the ball before they have to make that last ditch tackle. I’ve changed my mind since watching Helik, he throws his body at absolutely everything and I’m loving it. He’s very good in the air, and good with his feet too. I’m excited to watch him play. Seems like a very good find.
The defence had already started to improve with the introduction of Sollbauer, so Helik’s performances have gone a little bit under the radar. Looks solid, the best of the three IMO.
I love Helik. I have watched the last few matchday recaps and most of the time a ball comes into the box its him there heading it away or blocking it. Proper old school defender that would throw himself in front of anything. Big threat from set pieces too.
Really agree he's a great find plus he gives us extra options in the attacking end from corners and free kicks. Really happy with Michal so far
The only way round it now are separate threads praising every player. That way no one individual makes a clanger.
Helik had one of those Maths sets when I worra kid wit protractor, compass and that. He should be good getting his angles reight.
